McKenzie attended MSB as a player from 6th grade through college. She has been an instructor with MSB since 2015. Graduated from Lakeville North High School in 2012 and continued on to playing Division I basketball at Northern Illinois University. McKenzie transferred to Minnesota State University, Mankato to finish her student-athlete career and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Elementary Education. She is currently a girl's basketball coach and 4th grade teacher in Northfield.
